                      Heartsaver Courses

                      The Heartsaver CPR course contains up-to-date content and science from the 2005 Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care. The course teaches cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and choking relief in adults. Training in infant and child CPR and choking relief are optional. The course is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. It is also open to the general public.

                      The Heartsaver AED course is designed to teach lay rescuers the lifesaving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and relief of choking in adults, children and infants. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use is taught for adults and children. This course teaches participants to recognize and treat emergencies such as cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke and choking. The course is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.






                      Heartsaver AED Course 

                      The Heartsaver AED Course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, infant CPR and relief  of choking, and use of barrier devices for all ages. For those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

                      The new editions of Heartsaver AED course materials incorporate the most up-to-date, science-based treatment recommendations from AHA’s 2005 Guidelines – and feature exciting new formats that help ensure accuracy, reliability, and convenience.


                      Heartsaver First Aid

                      The Heartsaver First Aid course provides training in basic first-aid procedures -- including the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA -- in a format that can be delivered in a single day. It also offers elective modules in CPR, AED, and environmental emergencies.

                      Its highly effective video-based-instruction format enables students to experience case-based scenarios in a realistic setting. Instructors introduce a topic, then show a video segment to present cases for discussion or to demonstrate a particular skill. Students then practice the skill in small groups.

                      The Heartsaver First Aid course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. 


                      Heartsaver CPR in Schools

                      The Heartsaver® CPR In Schools course is tailored to middle- and high-school students seeking credentials in CPR and AED. It teaches CPR and AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, and infant CPR and relief of choking. Especially designed with the teen audience in mind, the course appeals to students through a unique training video featuring teen interviews and edgy video footage.

                      Rich in prevention and lifesaving information, Heartsaver CPR in Schools will help strengthen the chain of survival in your community.


                      Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens

                      Designed for workers in the commercial market who must receive bloodborne pathogens training per the OSHA Standard 1910.1030.

                      This course is designed for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as:
